"It could be worse." That was what the wedding officiant said during the ceremony, and I could not agree more. Caitlin broke her foot 13 days prior to the wedding, and the weather was not favorable on their wedding day. Unfortunately they had to speed up the outdoor ceremony because the wind really picked up, and it started to rain. I had to change my plans to capture the group photos outside. I want to applaud the DJ, and the Valley Country Club staff for their quick thinking and versatility. The ushers did pretty well too. They were holding the tent that was covering the audio equipment so it did not fly away. They also did a good job driving the golf carts to transfer people back to the clubhouse when the downpour started. It was truly a team effort! Despite all of that, it was such a beautiful and fun wedding. The clouds really helped too! They give a dramatic look to the photographs, and I can't complain about taking pictures in 70 degree weather in July. Big thanks to Matthew Steaffens for helping me photograph this wedding.
