What an awesome wedding! Ashley and Jack are an environmentally conscious couple. It really showed on their wedding day. They are full of ideas that I hope more couples will follow. We owe it big time to the Mother Earth! Here are some of the things I noticed. The mismatched ceramic plates and utensils were all purchased from the thrift store. Mason jars with name tags were used as opposed to plastic cups. Some of the flowers were made from recycled paper. They used their beloved swing as their guest book. I am sure there were a few more that I did not notice. They tied the knot at the Evergreen Lake House on Father's Day. The lake was busier than usual because of the holiday. We were still able to capture some beautiful shots despite the crowded park. Here are some of my favorite shots from their special day.
Katie and Isaac tied the knot at the Iberostar resort in Cozumel, Mexico. The setting was perfect. Having the reception right on the beach has got to be one of my favorite experiences I have had as a wedding photographer. The cool breeze, the beautiful sky, and the sand as the dance floor truly made this wedding special.
Curtiss and Crystal got married at Castle Pines Country Club. The haze from the wildfires in Washington State masked the beautiful backdrop of this venue. On a positive note, the temperature was pleasant because the sun was covered by the smoke. The wedding was truly beautiful, and the celebration was a blast.
Meet Ashley and Jack. They will get married next year at the Evergreen Lakehouse. I had so much fun exploring the city and taking photographs of them.
Kristy and Jeff really lucked out. They were the last couple of the day, and the judge asked them if they wanted to get married outside the courthouse instead. It could not have gone any better. The weather was perfect! After the ceremony, the celebration was held at Americatus. Congratulations Kristy and Jeff!
